Laird Landmann co-manages many of the firm's mutual funds and leads MetWest's risk management efforts. Under his co-leadership, the MetWest investment team was recognized as Morningstar's Fixed Income Manager of the Year for 2005. Prior to founding MetWest, Laird was a principal and the co-director of fixed income at Hotchkis and Wiley. Laird also gained extensive experience in futures, options and corporate securities while serving as a portfolio manager and vice president at PIMCO. He is also a former derivatives specialist with Morgan Stanley's institutional fixed income division.
Laird holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. |
