MetWest offers a variety of fixed income funds for our institutional and individual clients. Much like our separate accounts, our funds seek to exceed their relevant benchmarks while limiting absolute volatility.

Our mutual funds help shareholders achieve their specific fixed income goals. Below are the objectives for each of our mutual funds.

Ultra Short Bond Fund Seeks to maximize current income, consistent with the preservation of capital. Maintains an average duration of up to one year.

Low Duration Bond Fund Seeks to maximize current income, consistent with the preservation of capital. Maintains an average duration of up to three years.

Intermediate Bond Fund Seeks to maximize current income, consistent with the preservation of capital. Maintains an average duration between one and six years.

Total Return Bond Fund Seeks to maximize long-term total return. Maintains an average duration between two and eight years.

High Yield Bond Fund Seeks to maximize long-term total return consistent with the preservation of capital. Maintains an average duration between two and eight years.

AlphaTrak 500 Fund Seeks to achieve a total return that exceeds the total return of the S&P 500 Index. Combines short duration fixed income with non-leveraged investments in S&P 500 derivatives.

Strategic Income Fund Seeks to maximize long-term total return without tracking any particular markets or indicies. Designed to seek absolute positive returns uncorrelated to cyclical market downturns.
